Thanksgiving 2018

As most of you probably already know from past posts, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.

Whether it’s family, friends, or a mix of family and friends we always have a full house and tons of food and drink. This year I added in some games for the kids like Saran Wrap ball, Scavenger hunts and Turkey Pictionary. It was a nice way to include the kids in the holiday but also have breaks where they were out of our hair and the adults could catch up.

This year I also accepted some help and while I made a couple appetizers, stuffing, sweet potato soufflé, mac n cheese, corn casserole, cranberry sauce pumpkin dump bars and a dessert trifle, (Jordan made the turkey), I had everyone bring something to share as well. Needless to say we had a LOT of food

I was so excited because Isla actually tried the Mac n Cheese and LOVED it!

And Holden, who will try anything, REALLY loved the pumpkin cream filling for the trifle…

Those are Rumchata shooters-SOOOO yummy! I also had to make sure Holden stayed away from those!

With 17 adults and 9 kids it certainly was a house full of love and thanks.
