Our Summer in one Big Fat Photo Post

Our Summer in one Big Fat Photo Post

Since I’m sitting here getting ready to start editing our annual “Summer Video” ( click here for 2016, 2017, & 2018 ) I won’t bore you with a bunch of words about our Summer. Instead I will let you watch our adventures (in a few weeks from now) in a neat little package set to music ;). While you wait, enjoy these photos of a memorable Summer that seemed to fly right by.

We spent lots of days and nights exploring in and around Houston…

Birthday in Eado

Candytopia

…conquered mountains…

Enchanted Rock

Admiring the view

… and spent countless sunny hours on the lake followed by nights with gooey, sticky s’mores.

The trials and tribulations of Petunia

We explored Texas Hill Country swimming holes…

Greenbelt, ATX

and stopped for lots of bbq and drinks in between.

Hill Country Road, Blue Hole, Jacobs Well, Salt Lick BBQ and Luckenbach, TX

We made had a lot of laughs and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Girls Camping trip at Inks Lake

We walked on 300 years of history at the San Antonio Missions

…and reverently remembered the Alamo.

I revisited old friendships at my 20th Highschool reunion…

Festa Italiana

Davidsons Lake House - just like old times…

… and fiesta’d with lifelong friends in paradise.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Las Caletas

Isla took her first solo flight to Nashville, and I tried not to cry… too much ;)

There were too many pool days to count…

…and a festive 4th of July with two newly minted American Citizens!

It was an amazing Summer making memories out of the mundane and the not so mundane day to day…

As always, I’m sad to see my favorite season go, but consoled by the fact that the weather will stick around for a while!
