Friday Photo Dump (only one day later)

I am writing this after a very long day at the circus - even though we were only actually AT the circus for about 15 minutes, but more on that later...

This past week South Texas was FINALLY blessed with some rain, actually, not just some rain, a lot of rain.  This moved some of our normal activities indoors and helped us learn not to take our many pool days for granted.  We pulled out some classic board games and had a lot of family game nights after dinner.  Isla's favorite is DEFINITELY The Fishing Game.  You know, the one where a circle of water moves around and around while fish open and close their mouths and you try to catch them.  Side note, this makes grown up Jordan and Kelly actually quite nauseas.

Isla and I went to the movie theater for the first time together.  She's been before with Jordan, but this is the first time I got to experience it with her, and it was a fun day - even if she insisted on leaving 5 minutes before the end.  Can someone please tell me how Monsters University ends?

I caught up on another three episodes of Downton Abbey with some girlfriends.  We are about halfway through Season 3.  Please DON'T tell me how that ends ;).

And we spent some time with wonderful neighbors that we haven't seen in a while.  It was a great way to relax, unwind and end another great week.
