Crafting

Some days It seems the afternoons have become longer and longer.  In an effort to keep the kids, (mostly Isla), entertained, we have been doing a lot of art projects.  This Saturday Jordan was able to join in the crafting fun, which also meant that I was able to properly document the fun.

I've been wanting to do this particular craft ever since I saw it on Pinterest.  It's quick, easy and looks pretty cool once you are all done.

Isla was pretty excited to get started - she even posed for a picture!

It soon became apparent that Jordan was having more fun then Isla...

She finished the craft quietly reading a book...

Our finished product proudly hangs in the kids playroom.  (please excuse the quality.  These were taken at night with my iphone).  

It should be noted that Holden also likes to craft.  This particular project was just a little too difficult for him.  Coloring, (with crayons), is more his speed.  And we are happy to report, he no longer just eats the crayons!
