Texas Crawfish

This past weekend we headed to a local spot called Good 'ole Boys (see their website here).  Located in Katy, this place is well known for their crawfish, atmosphere and live music.  It was everything I had heard it was and more.  We had so much fun and will definitely be adding this into our rotation of family appropriate places that are still fun for adults!

Holden busied himself with iPad videos - he was not a crawfish fan, and chose to snack on goldfish and milk instead...

One of the owners insisted that we put Holden in this bucket to take pictures of him before we left.  It didn't really turn out as planned as Holden is not a very willing model...

After lunch we headed to Bahama Mamas for a Stuffie dessert.  For those who aren't familiar with Bahama Mama's, it's a sno cone food truck in Cinco Ranch and it is amazing.  We recently tried the Dreamsicle Stuffie, and are OBSESSED.  It's a dreamsicle flavored sno cone with a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla in the middle.  The result tastes EXACTLY like a creamsicle.  It's heavenly!  

We closed the weekend with a trip to the gym pool - it doesn't get much better than this...
