Thanksgiving

Hands down, my FAVORITE holiday ever.  I love it all - the food, friends, family, drinks and Fall weather (which we actually kind of had in Texas at around 7am).

This year we started a new tradition: The Cinco Ranch Turkey Dash.  Jordan and Holden signed up for the 5k while Isla and I entered into the 1mile Fun Run.  It was fun cheering Dad and Holden on and walking around all the activities offered at the race.  Unfortunately, by the time the Fun Run came around Isla was pooped...  She basically made it about a tenth of a mile before we jumped the median and headed toward the finish line.  I think we may have finished in the top ten! ;)  Jordan and Holden finished 3rd among runners pushing a stroller - Isla and I were so proud!  

Needless to say, Holden's Turkey costume was a big hit.  This picture doesn't even illustrate the full cuteness - it comes with a turkey head!!!

The Doritos and milk breakfast may have been what slowed Isla down...

After the "race", we went home and started Thanksgiving dinner.  Our friends Wes and Lyndsay and their little boy Nash were coming over for Pajama's only Thanksgiving.  

We had a great time celebrating with friends and family.  It was a wonderful day and a time for me to reflect on how truly happy and thankful that I am.  I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving with friends and family as well.
