Halloween 2018

Halloween is always a favorite time of year in our household. Every year we add a little more to our decor collection and invent new ways to use what we already have to keep things fresh and keep our annual Halloween bash exciting and SCARY!

Halloween Party

I took the facebook photos of all of our friends and made them as spooky as can be…

I was really bad about getting everyones photos this year. We had about fifty people there, and this is all I got. I think as a result we’ll definitely get the Photo Booth that got in years past that you can see here.

It was a fun night with some really creative and awesome costumes. Of course there had to be a clear winner, and after all was said and done, Guns n Roses took home the highly coveted trophy.

Isla’s Class

Isla’s Teacher Mrs. Kilman

Holden’s class didn’t participate in the dress up portion of the Character Parade this year, but they had a great time watching!

Isla started off dealing with the smell by making faces…

…but she soon found a more creative way to deal with it.

Trick or Treat

Our little Beto O’Rourke was not having it. He did enjoy the Whataburger that we bought as a prop though!

Isla was her true self as a Starbucks barista. It’s not lost on me that she’s carrying a Lululemon bag as her candy sack. Can we get anymore basic?!? LOL!!! Add a dog in a halloween costume and the answer is yes, yes we can… ;)

The only let down of this years Halloween is that we were too late for our annual pumpkin patch photos at St. Peters. We drove out there a couple days before Halloween and the patch was totally picked over! I’m not gonna lie - I was pretty heartbroken. You can click 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 to take a look back at this tradition and feel my pain. Oh well, there’s always next year!

These videos help me feel better…
