Meet Dolly "Parton" Fife
On August 7th a very special little puppy was born in La Grange, Texas. I’m not sure if she knew then just how much she would be wanted or loved, but I am certain she knows now.
We made a plan to pick her up at a little over 6 weeks old on our way to the lake. Although 6 weeks is a little early, she was no longer feeding from her Mom and was consistently eating puppy food and using puppy pads.

Currently, Dolly is a little over 6 months old, and 15 lbs. she has totally captured the hearts of us all and is definitely the most spoiled family member. Everything she does is funny and she’s the most loyal little lap dog you could ever meet. She has yet to meet a stranger and will follow you around until you pay her attention, sleeping next to the bathtub while we bathe, in our beds at night, and on our laps whenever possible.
She makes the funniest noises of any dog I’ve ever heard, can swim a little, but still wears a life vest, and rivals Jordans snoring. She pretends that she doesn't like to go on walks and will run away from the leash, but is as happy as can be when she’s out sniffing around the world around her. She’s nearly potty trained, (she still has accidents inside when we haven’t taken her for a walk in a while), and knows three commands; sit, down and up, which is basically just her walking around on her hind legs. We are so happy that we get to be her forever family, and can’t imagine life without her!
