Happy SEVENTH Birthday Isla!!!

Seven years?!?!  Its not an especially big birthday in terms of first birthday, or thirteen, she's not even switching up to another school.  But somehow seven seems BIG.  Like really BIG.

I'm not sure how it's possible that we've already gotten to spend seven years with this beautiful child.  She is absolutely EVERYTHING I ever could have dreamed of.

Isla - I am so proud of the person that you are and the one that you are growing into.  Please don't ever lose the quirky little BIG personality that defines you.  I love you, and Happy SEVENTH Birthday!

This year Isla wanted an American Girl doll birthday with her friends.  The plan was to head down to the American Girl store after school.  The girls would eat dinner and have cake with their dolls and then head back to our house for a sleepover.

Isla had a hard decision on who to bring, but eventually decided on the new addition to her little family,  Lea (she's the one on the right).

Jordan and I both had to drive down to the mall in order to fit all these

very

excited girls.

We made our way back to the bistro where a private room with a Lea themed party was waiting.

The girls had their choice of drink, appetizer and entree.  This took about as long as you would expect.

We got home and opened Isla's gifts before heading up to the media room for a movie.

All the girls seemed to enjoy Troop Beverly Hills, and were pretty tired after all the fun.

Everyone was asleep before midnight, which I consider a

total

win with all these girls!
