Pumpkin Patchin' Y'all
Last week we made our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Despite a long day, and some fussy kids, this is something we look forward to every year, and even if it starts out with a bad attitude, and kids tired from a long day, they usually have a fun time picking out their pumpkins and playing in the patch.
This year was no different. Once the obligatory pictures were over, and I had said, "please use your real smile", no less than twenty times, the kids had fun doing what we were supposed to be there to do; pick out pumpkins. I may not admit it, but the only thing I really wanted to do at the pumpkin patch is get good pictures! Oh yeah, and make fabulous Fall memories... of course ;).
This is not her real smile...
Neither is this...
There was a lot more of this.
And this, instead of real smiles... At least when I asked for them.
But there was helping little brother...
And the elusive sibling photos...
Even if its not their real smiles.
Real smiles, and silliness came later.
And predictably, it was awesome...
Another year of memories at the Pumpkin Patch is in the books, while the fruits of our labors sit proudly on our front porch. They are waiting to be carved and painted during an afternoon of more memories... Isn't Fall the best?
