First Day of School

The first day of school has been a long time coming.  We spent weeks getting everything checked off our list...

Labeled backpacks, lunchboxes, extra clothes, heck... just about everything... check

We were ready for our first day of Kindergarten for Isla, and Preschool for Holden.

The kids both did great.  I was pretty sure Holden would be fine, this was the same place he was at last year, with the same teachers.  But I wasn't sure about Isla.  Kindergarten is such a big new step.  But she bravely sat down at her spot, and when she saw me start to tear up, she came and gave me a hug and kiss, and asked me if that made it better.  Then she told me it was time to leave.

We are now into our fourth week of school and everything is going great.  We've joined PTA, volunteered, attended back to school night, met Isla for lunch, and purchased the appropriate spirit wear.  Its hard to believe, but I think it's safe to say we are officially an elementary school family.

We are so excited to see what this year has in store for our little Wolfpack students.
