American Girl Dance Camp

Isla has been showing a much bigger interest in dance recently.  So much so that I've caught her watching youtube videos of dance moves, and practicing them on their own.  Her favorite is the one that she does with her Dad, where he picks her up high in the air.  Video of that to follow!

Because of this, we decided to sign her up for some Summer dance camps.  She just finished American Girl Dance Camp, and once we get home from the beach, she'll head to Barbie Dance Camp.

The camp includes learning a dance, crafts, snacks, and time with friends.  Isla absolutely loves it!  Her little friend Kylie is in both camps with her which just sweetens the deal.

It's so much fun to watch her do something she enjoys so much.  That smile kills me!

After the performance, we met up with Kylie and her parents, (our friends Jamie and Erica), and took the girls out for a lunch.

I think it goes without saying, we are looking forward to Barbie Dance Camp, and the final recital.  I even changed our flight to Nashville to go meet my sister Mandy's newborn to accommodate the performance!
