NYC 2014

Every year Jordan and I get invited to a broker Christmas party in NYC.  It's not really feasible to do every single year, but we are trying to go at least every other year.  It's always SO much fun, and this year was no exception!  Our good friends Kathy and Eric were going to watch the kids for us in exchange for some photo sessions of their family.  I could not have been happier with the arrangement!

Although the weather wasn't great, we had such a fun get away.  We stayed in a beautiful hotel, (The London), right next to Central Park, spent time at Chelsea Market, explored Grand Central Station, saw the Empire State Building, watched AND participated in an off-broadway production of The Gong Show, had a wonderfully relaxing couples massage, reconnected with old friends, and made some new ones, and took our first pedicab ride!  It was a great time, and we look forward to our next visit.

It was so cold at the top, and the wind felt at least 50 times stronger.  Needless to say, our thin Texas blood didn't want to stay too long up at the top...

This shop fronts on 5th Avenue were absolutely amazing.  These pictures don't do it justice, there's just something special about Christmas in NYC.  

Grand Central may be one of my favorite spots that I've been to in New York.  It's just so cool, and it has such an exciting vibe.  Could have stayed here and took pictures forever.  Especially if I hadn't gotten yelled at for trying to set-up my tripod...
