Disney Countdown

The week is here - we have finally made it to "the week we leave for Disney".  As someone who's never been to Disney World, I have to admit; I'm just as excited as my kids.  I'm so excited that I wasn't able to keep it a surprise.  I have been talking to the kids about this trip for the past two months, and they know exactly when it's happening, and are counting down the days with me!

With the help of some of my very savvy Disney friends, the trip is totally planned out.  Down to the order in which we will ride each ride, and the amount of time we should expect to wait in each line.  We have planned snack time, rest time, down time, basically ALL the "times".  Don't get me wrong, we don't expect to follow these plans to a tee, but I am super grateful to have them as a pretty strict guide, knowing that we will have to expect some flexibility.  

The princess dresses and Disney shirts have all been set aside…

The Magic Express has been set up and the autograph books have been ordered…

And the magic bands, and ergo baby carrier are ready to strap on (this is a photo of me testing out Holden's favorite new place to be - strapped in and attached to his Momma).  It's safe to say we are more than ready for this first trip to Disney.  The weather is supposed to be perfect, and I can't wait to update you all with our magical adventure.  Stay tuned!
