Holden's Baptism Weekend
This past weekend we hosted friends and family for Holden's baptism. Jordan's Aunt Alice, parents and best friend Cheng were all coming in town to celebrate with us.
Isla started asking two weeks in advance when they were going to be here, and somehow worked their arrival into every conversation. Needless to say, when the day finally came, I was more than a little relieved... Unfortunately, Nana and Papaws flight was more then a little delayed, but Aunt Alice was still right on time, so we hopped in the car and headed to the airport to pick her up. Isla had a great time hanging out with Alice while waiting for the rest of our guests.
She was still pretty excited for her Nana and Papaw though, and spent quite a bit of time waiting for them at the window so that she would be the first to see them pull up.
We had a wonderful visit catching up with everyone, and commemorating Holden's special day. We packed a lot of things into a five-day visit... Heres a little bit of what we did:
The first day Isla woke up with Aunt Alice and Nana and decided that she would join in their morning exercise. This quickly turned into a little rest with Papaw on the couch.
I think Papaw took another one a little later too...
We were excited to learn that the church had a videotape of the baptism that they shared with us. To view the video, follow this link:

We are so thankful to you all for making the trip. You are all so special to us, and we know that it's never easy to travel. Thank you for taking the time to share with us - we won't forget it!
