Fall Overload
On Friday we went to Isla's schools Fall Festival. As previously mentioned this came on the heels of a week plus full of Fall related activities. Needless to say, we were a little burnt out on the season. However, this was a great event and Isla had a blast. She loved seeing all her teachers outside of a school setting and was excited to participate in all the festivities.
As we were leaving the house, we caught this double rainbow - Isla was pretty impressed with this, and it was hard to get her in the car after she saw it. You can faintly make out the second rainbow to the left of the brightest one.
Isla decorated her own cookie. In true Isla fashion it was mostly pink icing.
Isla put her whole body into throwing the ring at the ring toss.
Not surprisingly, the wall of suckers was a hit.
Isla was super excited to find Ms. Gordon and show off her outfit. Even better, Ms. Gordon was in charge of the hopping race (one of Isla's better sports).
This monster stayed on Isla's hand for the better part of a week, and she checked it each morning - very concerned with why it was still there.
After some snacks and playing on the jungle gym we met up with some friends at All Star Family Grill and enjoyed a couple beers while the kids ran around the playground. It was a good way to end a very busy "Fall" week.
Is it time to start celebrating Christmas yet...?
