Praseks

Upon moving to Texas, Jordan and I were excited to try some of the local food that the state and Southern Texas are known for.  Unfortunately, as far as BBQ goes, Jordan and I still prefer pulled pork over brisket, HOWEVER, Texas pretty much makes up for the lack of pulled pork with a place called Prasek’s that specializes in a special kind of jerky.  I have never tasted anything like it.  They will basically jerky anything and sell it deli style.  You literally have to go in and take a number and then place your order with a butcher.  This place has a huge selection of not only jerky, but stuffed meats, cheeses, sauces, jams and the best bathrooms in the state of Texas!  I highly recommend it!
