Lets go to the BEACH!!!

This past week we visited my parents in Florida. Despite an awful airport experience on the way there (we were basically bumped to the next day’s flight after hanging out in the airport for 5 hours), we had a GREAT time. We were able to meet our friends Autumn and Violet who we have been talking to via the internet for a year and have dinner. It was great to get the kids together and finally meet face-to-face! Most of all we were so happy to meet up with my Aunt and Isla’s Great Aunt Jana for lunch. Luckily she only lives a short way down “Alligator Alley” so it was a fun little day trip for all of us. Isla was especially taken with Aunt Jana and didn’t want to leave. She leaned in for hugs/kisses four different times and rested her head on her chest as we were trying to leave! Thanks to Mom and Dad for making it such a fun and relaxing trip!

Dad got Isla this inflatable ball and she LOVED it! Hoping that they will be shipping it our way soon! ;)

Best Buds…

Didn’t LOVE her first boat ride… Too windy!

Granted this is the bigger of my parent’s two dogs, he still looks pretty big next to Isla. This isn’t usually something used to describe either of my parents dogs! When we brought Isla home from the hospital, she weighed less then both of them!!!
