Christmastime at the Fife’s

Christmas was really important to us this year since we were moving last year.  We couldn’t wait to spend the holidays together as our new little family.  We had plans to go to Christmas Eve mass and then sushi.  Unfortunately, we had to get the photos from our photographer and were too late for Christmas Eve mass, but we did get to have sushi!  We got home and watched Home Alone which we soon learned is one of Isla’s favorite movies as she would not stop watching.  After Isla went to bed Santa’s little helpers put together her mini-kitchen with the help of some egg nog, beers and Christmas Vacation.  Three hours later…, we were ready to go to bed!  When we woke up Isla seemed generally impressed with what Santa and Mom and Dad had got her downstairs.  However, like most babies she seemed more interested in the wrapping paper and boxes at first!  We had fun playing with her presents and watching Despicable Me before we went over to our neighbors house to spend Christmas Day with friends and some good food and drinks.  All in all it was one of the best Christmases we have had!
