Trip to Tennessee
Jordan had to go out of town for work for a couple of days, so Isla and I made the best of it and decided to go to spend some time in Knoxville. It was GREAT – there were so many people that Isla got to meet for the first time; Her Great Papaw, Stella, Great Nana, Great Aunt Pam, Great Aunt Becky and Chris and Jessica. She got to see Aunt Jessie and Mandy, Uncle Erik, Papa, Mimi and Michelle. We had so much fun visiting with everyone and seeing the beautiful landscape. We appreciate everyone taking time to see us – we can’t wait to see y’all again!
You could tell that Isla really missed her Dad, every time Papa left the room Isla would cry and as soon as she could see Papa again she got happy. It was really sweet. She was super excited to see her Daddy on Saturday morning even though she was super tired from waking up at 3:30 to catch the red eye from Knoxville to Charlotte, and then to Houston.
She has now flown on two separate trips, and been on 8 planes. She is quite the traveler! In a month she will hop on her next flight to see her Nana and Papaw in Seaside. She is super excited to meet the newest member of our family Emerson Fife!!!
