Our Little Girl is on the Move

Isla has been scooting around since she was about 5 and 1/2 months old.   Apparently, what she is doing is considered “crawling”, it’s just a different type of crawl – specifically “commando crawl”.  I’ve learned that some kids never crawl the conventional way, and continue to use commando crawl until they eventually start walking.  I don’t think that we have to worry about this however.  Within the past week or so, Isla has been getting up on all fours and picking her  belly up.  I fear that cruising is right around the corner; a scary thought for us as our rental has three floors with three different stairs to fall down!  Baby proofing has officially begun!
